(TSX: ICE) (the "Corporation") today reported its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019.Overview of Q1 2019Revenue of $26.0 million increased by $0.4 million or 1.4% compared to 2018;EBITDA of $7.6 million remained consistent compared to the prior year;On March 19, 2019, the Company completed the purchase of a 3-pad ice rink facility in Chicago, Illinois for US$10.0 million. Dividend PolicyCanlan's Board of Directors has approved the continuation of the Corporation's quarterly dividend policy and declared eligible dividends totaling $0.025 per common share that will next be paid on July 16, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business June 28, 2019. Canlan's Board of Directors reviews the Corporation's dividend policy on a quarterly basis. Canlan's dividend is designated as an "eligible" dividend under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any corresponding provincial legislation.
