PRESS RELEASETele Columbus AG announces amendment of Financial Calendar
- Publication of Annual Financial Statement FY 2016 on 19 May 2017
- Annual General Meeting on 21 June 2017
Berlin, 27 April 2017. Tele Columbus AG, the third largest German cable operator, today announced an amendment of its scheduled Financial Calendar: The publication of the audited Financial Statement for the fiscal year 2016 has been postponed from 28 April to 19 May 2017; the Annual General Meeting, which was initially scheduled for 9 June, will now take place on 21 June 2017.
In the fiscal year 2016 Tele Columbus Group introduced a new, consistent group-wide accounting system and centralized all finance and accounting departments in Berlin as part of the integration of the companies primacom and pepcom acquired in 2015. In addition, primacom and pepcom had to be consolidated for the first time for a full year. These circumstances resulted in delays in preparing the financial statements and required additional auditing procedures. Therefore the publication of the final audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2016 has to be postponed from 28 April to 19 May 2017 and, as a consequence, the Annual General Meeting which was scheduled for 9 June 2017 will be called for 21 June 2017. The management of the Tele Columbus Group does not expect significant changes in the final financial statements compared to the preliminary results published on 7 March 2017.
